On a mission to change how we define wellness.

Hi! I’m Dr. Jess, a physician and founder on a mission to make healing simple, sustainable, and accessible for all.

With experience ranging from primary care and public health to ecology and spiritual coaching, I love helping people reconnect to their bodies, their environment, and most importantly—to their true selves, before the world told them who they should be.

This is my portfolio site, a compendium of my life’s work and current offerings. It’s not common for physicians to have a portfolio, but my work has always been my creative offering to the world.

I typically resist labels. But here are a few I embrace:

A Bridge between the scientific and spiritual worlds, and lover of both.

Pisces Sun/Virgo Moon/Gemini Rising – aka the dreamer who organizes chaos and can’t stop learning new things.

Pragmatic optimist with an ability to quickly distill complex challenges into workable problems.

Everything is an ecosystem.
And ecosystems are, by nature, systems of balance.

A wetland. A healthcare system. The human body.
Each is made of many interconnected parts, constantly influencing one another.

When balance is lost, the system struggles.
When balance is restored, the system heals.

My North Star

“When working on a problem, I never think about beauty; I think only of how to solve the problem. But when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know that it is wrong.
